YES… Even if you can’t draw, you can still create beautiful t-shirt designs. I personally can’t draw a stick figure very well, but in this business, you don’t have too. God has blessed the world with many other talented people who are great with graphic design (if you’re one of them, and you have a portfolio, send me your work and if your work measures up, I’ll include a link to you for our members — email me at: tshirtriches@gmail.com).

I will guide you through this process and provide you with proven strategies to help you build a t-shirt company. As one of the original pioneers to start selling t-shirts online 20 years ago, I've sold millions of dollars in t shirts to people all over the world. I founded TshirtRiches in 2007 to teach others how to turn their t-shirt ideas into a business. So if you're ready, hop onboard and let's make this money!

  • great staff, siyabonga (thank you)

  • Would you direct me to a good source to purchase T-Shirts.

hey i got into transferEXpress.com but i cant find where i can give them the designs

    • You need to have an acct with them first. Give them a call and they’ll walk u through the process – after your first purchase, they’ll set you up with an acct.

  • We got rid of the book for a more indepth course. May be bringing it back out though in the new year for those who rather read and ‘highlight’.

  • If it’s just text, you should be able to do yourself (and some of the transfer companies will set that up for you if you know the exact font style and size you want to use). They’re pretty helpful… But yes, this is simple enough whereby you won’t need a graphic designer — but, if you want to make it ‘pop’, u might consider one just to see what they’ll look like. Post a job request on freelancer.com and see what some of their designers come up with — it’s pretty inexpensive.

  • thanks for your for the tutorail,it was real educative, actually i am graphic design student and i have been real tourched by your works.

  • When printing your own designs onto a paper and sending them out to transfer companies. There is absolutely no comparison! When printing them out yourself it lacks the quality; which explains the look and feel of the others that you are not able to get yours to look like. The transfer companies use plastisol transfer which is the way best to go! Its the same quality as screen printing. The design is screen printed onto the release paper. That’s the only difference to screen printing and of course beside the cost.

Please check out our course to obtain information for sources to purchase the transfers

Yes, since you have your own design. You can shoot over your design and they will be able to take care of printing the design onto a transfer.

  • Range anywhere from $300 – $1,995. You can buy used on Craigslist.com or get cheaper machines on eBay. The higher end machines last longer — but the cheaper ones are also great for starters. No need to spend thousands on a machine only to find out you’re not really interested in having a t-shirt biz… Start small and within your budget and grow into it.

  • Awesome… Go for it. You’re never to young. Instead of asking mom and dad for a car, ask for a heat press machine 🙂

HI IVE BEEN WANTIG TO START MY OWN TSHIRT DESIGNS I CAN DRAW AND I WANT TO DO CHRISTIAN DESIGNS FOR GIRLS AND MAYBE FOR BOYS BUT ITS HARD

  • It really depends on what you’re able to afford… To keep cost and inventory low, I’d say limit the amount of colored tees available (white, black, navy, yellow, etc..)

I’d keep my inventory low until I’m able to get an idea as to the number of tees I’ll be selling… Many of the wholesale apparel companies can generally have tees in your driveway within 1-2 days of you ordering.

Whatever I order prior to 5 p.m. will be in my office by noon the following day. That keeps the need to stock a huge inventory.

Start out with a dozen… If your budget allows for more, start out with 2 dozen. If money is real tight, start out with 6 tees per size. This is really based on what you can afford….

  • We have a source list available for purchase. The source list includes various companies to purchase custom, and pre-made transfers. As well as blank t-shirts at wholesale cost.

The price for custom transfers will be determined by the amount of colors you have in your design. If you are on a tight budget then I would recommend no more than 2 colors in the design. The more colors in the design the more it will cost to have the designs screen printed onto the release paper.

If you would, please click the link below to purchase the source list.
